I have no idea which scene Tarantino did. I just know that he completely mess up the ONE scene he directed in Sin City. It just COMPLETLEY broke with how the rest of the movie flowed.I know! Let's turn the internal monologues that gave a strong, brooding feeling into a spoken monologue that makes the actor seem like he is rambling without a purpose. BRILLIANT!That one scene is a taint on an otherwise fantastic movie.

IF IT'S NOT A DIRECT TRANSCRIPTION FROM A COMIC IT IS NOT A GOOD MOVIE!!!!111 HAVE YOU NOT BEEN PAYING ATTN TO THE ENTERTAINMENT SECTION RECENTLY!?!?!?!

The Miller style is great on the page. It doesn't work so well as a direct translation to film. If it did, there wouldn't be hundreds of film noir parodies floating around the entertainment landscape. I don't think the Willis line would sound silly if it was delivered in dialogue, as long as the delivery is the same. The fact is that Sin City is a beautiful visual film, but as a film experience it's lacking in vitality. Aside from a few other quick moments, the Tarantino scene is the only one in the film that reflects the energy and creativity that exist in the material itself.

what i thought was the crappy part of pulp fiction was the hotel scenes with bruce willis, and the rest of the gold watch is very different from the rest of the movie.what makes me wonder is aside from reservoir dogs his other movies dont even come close, only when he's working with another director like robert rodriguez does his he makememorable scenes.[Edited on September 26, 2006 at 4:50 PM.
