theres only 2 games that are unknown right now, and they will be unknown until the end of this seasonhere's the breakdown:16 Total Regular Season games- 6 of 16 games are home/away games versus each team in your division- 4 of 16 games are against each team in another division in your conference on a rotating schedule...two home, two road, four total games- 4 of 16 games are against each team in another division in opposite conference on a rotating schedule...two home, two road, four total games- 2 of 16 games are against 2 teams from your conference, strictly based on record/position of previous years's standingsHere's how those would apply to the Panthers' schedule this season:- 6 of 16 games - vs ATL, vs TB, vs NO, @ ATL, @ TB, @ NO- 4 of 16 games - vs DAL, vs NYG, @ PHI, @ WAS (NFC East)- 4 of 16 games - @ PIT, @ BAL, vs CLE, vs CIN (AFC North)- 2 of 16 games - @ MIN, vs. STL (I THINK since Carolina was 2nd in NFC South last year they played 2nd place in NFC North (MIN) and NFC West (STL)]

Next year they will play the obvious division foes, the NFC West (Seattle, @St Louis, San Francisco, @Arizona), the AFC South (Indianapolis, @Tennessee, Houston, @Jacksonville), and the two other teams based on where they finish in the South. What I find so funny is how people get excited when the NFL schedules come out, considering we know 14 of the 16 opponents years in advance (and the other 2 as soon as the regular season is over), and then talk about how X team has a tough schedule because they went to the Super Bowl last year when only 2 games are based on how well you do.
