We are in the beginning phases of setting up a new student organization at NCSU. It's a service organization aimed at reducing global poverty through student action. Please visit the website:http://www.nourishinternational.orgCheck it out-- that's the website of the national office. If you're interested in being a part of this group, or finding out a little more about it, please send me an email at lindsay_apple@ncsu.edu. You can be a part of the very beginning!

i might be interested if im not busy during meeting times.im guessing this group will be autonomous from the UNC chapter, right? the website really puts a lot of emphasis on them.ok, and now for the part most of you came here for: the liberal bashing. Yes, the group will be autonomous from the UNC chapter. The website emphasizes the UNC chapter quite a bit because that was the original chapter. There is now a successful chapter at Duke University, and we are working on starting chapters at NCSU and Ohio State. The hope of NI is to begin chapter at colleges all over the country. Basically... it's awesome. If interested, will you please send me contact information to the email address I posted in the first post? Thanks so much, ya'll.

Based on what I've learned at this fine institution over the years, society cannot exist without some level of poverty. This ain't Utopia. But a good cause nonetheless.
