drivin an explorer sport trac. just got new tires........need a window tint i think the back is 15 percent and im gonna go 10 on the front. i just need the front two windows done. where is a quality place in raleigh i can do this, and how much will it cost me?

legally you can only get 35% in the front. doesn't matter what you are doing inside, that is the law on window tint.

most places are goign to be about the same price for just two front windows. Probably $50. Good places are like cutting edge and formula 1. The question is will they do illegal tint for you.

not only that, but if you were legaly putting tint on the back, less than 15% isnt a good idea, it doesnt hold up well, and fades quickly, most professional places will tell you darker than 15% is stupid, unless you want to nig money away, plus its hard to see behind you at night when you are backing up, i have 15 on the back of my truck and 35 on the front and am complelety happy with it,

formula one does great work for reasonable prices btw

yeah, we understand that but what you are not understanding is that the percentage you want is illegal. so that means a quality shop will not install your tint and if you do find someone to do it, it'll probably be done in someone's backyard and the word quality with have nothing to do with the install.

last time i came in here......when i first got my car, i asked for suggestions on what i should do myself to it to increase the aesthetic value. many people told me to even out the tint, and go up a size in tires. well i just went up a size on tires, and i figure ill even the tint out. like i said, i was told the wrong thing by someone who thought they knew they were talking about regarding tint, and i figured i could get some sort of help from people who do know, but some of you are so far up your own ass youd rather talk a bunch of shit before actually giving some sort of advice. fuck you im outta here.

well its 32% and if its on an suv it can be 5%on every window but the frontthey cant be darker than 32. you may never have a cop speak to you about it, but when it comes time for an inspection, good luck better find some where who just wants to collect money and doesnt care about window tint

the law is 32%, but they dont' make 32% film. The film is 35% and combined with the slight tint of the glass it can be down around 32%.
