Is there any software to generate that..like it takes a shitload of other pictures and makes up a bigger picture.

I was sitting in Mama Fu's last week waiting on my order and thought about a program like this. It shouldn't be impossible to design, and I think it could be used in a lot of neat ways.I guess I wasn't the only one.

Im sure there is as you see these kinds of pictures all the time..I doubt they are done by hand, but I cant name the program

"Photo mosaic", is the term you're looking for.10 seconds on Google turned up some software in the $30~$40 range, but I didn't check SourceForge. I'd bet (a small amount of) money that someone, somewhere has created free software for doing it.

just write a program that determins the average brightness/color of each image and then puts the closest match into the corresponding place in the larger image
