This blows:10. NC State (1-2): "Cry Me A River": Chuck Amato offered no lame excuses this week, but the Wolfpack's only win is over I-AA Appalachian State.http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2595128

could have seen this coming
9/20/2006 5:41:00 PM
at least we slid down, we deserved to be higher than we were last week with the ejection and tank's arrestand how we looked like crap
9/20/2006 5:41:19 PM
miami should be #5
9/20/2006 5:41:20 PM
How do we make that and not Miami? They are also 1-2, except win came against a "better" 1AA team. And quality opponents doesn't mean shit. We could have been blown out by UL just like they were and with the way the team normally is . . . have played just as crappily against FSU.
9/20/2006 5:49:05 PM
haha wah wah wahthey have been beaten by teams in BCS schools, plus that I-AA team, they killed that fly with an axeso you are wrong[Edited on September 20, 2006 at 5:51 PM. Reason : g]

The world is obviously against us
9/20/2006 5:52:32 PM
But Amato deflected questions about the slow start by pointing out the Wolfpack's five bowl appearances in six seasons. He also refused to answer a question about whether he believed his job was in jeopardy."A successful season is to have a winning record and go to a bowl," he said. "Everything over and above that is gravy."
9/20/2006 5:54:42 PM
UNC is also 1-2, but don't expect them to make the list....EVER. I understand their loss to VT, but Rutgers and almost Furman, terrible. They would have my vote over Miami actually. ESPN is just bias, and I will always blame Stuart Scott for it.
9/20/2006 5:57:52 PM
wasnt herb WAY WORSE THEN THIS
9/20/2006 5:57:58 PM
i would MUCH rather lose every game than be up by 14 with 2 minutes to go and blow it nearly every time.it's alot easier to be frustrated than it is to be heartbroken

I will say one thing though. If marcus stone stopped playing like he didn't know what football was then using him and Evans in at the same time would provide for some freakin sick trick plays.Oh wait, we don't do trick plays.Sorry

Rutgers may go to the Gator Bowl this year.. if both WVU and UL are BCS teams, which is entirely possible.
9/21/2006 1:43:54 PM
If 2 BE schools make the BCS, then it probably means Notre Dame didn't...which would lead to ND bumping Rutgers out of the Gator Bowl.
9/21/2006 1:52:40 PM
^^rofl, I didnt expect them to see thim on this list..idk how in the HELL you can call their team solid..their qb looks worse than stone, and their defense is atrocious
9/21/2006 2:35:20 PM
UNC is now on the waiting list for the Bottom Ten...hopefully they loose next week to get put on it
9/28/2006 12:12:14 PM
^^so is the defense of every team in the PAC-10
9/28/2006 12:36:19 PM
ummm, rutgers is 4-0they must not have too bad of a qb
9/28/2006 1:36:09 PM
nah a loss to rutgers isn't bad (yet), giving up 40+ points and 400+ yards to a Div. I-AA team is.losing by 45 points to anyone is also bad
