This is a longshot, but I have an Onkyo TX-Sr502 AV Receiver and a Samsung DVD player hooked up to it, along with a Sony TV. Problem is that I'm trying to program my receiver remote to control the Samsung DVD player but in the back of the receiver manual there is no Samsung code for dvd players, which is weird because they have the Samsung codes for Tv's and VCR's??? Anyone heard of this issue before? Thanks

try out some of the Samsung VCR codes, they might work. You just need the basic functionality on your remote like power, play, pause, stop, etc
