I'm considering going to see it probably in the next couple of weeks. I don't really want to go by myself. Would anybody like to go?
9/18/2006 11:05:16 AM
I'm actually kinda interested in seeing it myself but the cheapest tickets on ticketmaster are like $30
9/18/2006 11:38:48 AM
They aren't cheap but I'm willing to pay for it.

9/18/2006 11:54:25 AM
The wife and I went to see it on friday.Best off-broadway show i've ever seen. We paid $53 a piece for "limited view" seating. It wasn't that bad. There was like one part of on side of the stage that was partially blocked.
9/18/2006 11:57:27 AM
I'm going on the 7th. The tickets were expensive as hell.
9/18/2006 11:57:58 AM

Where can I get tickets other than the internet? They charge an $8.50 convenience charge per ticket, then $2.50 to print...We always used to get our tickets at Publix at home.
9/18/2006 12:13:58 PM
then another convenience fee on top of it.we did will call, and had $20 in fucking fees.God I fucking hate ticketmaster.
9/18/2006 12:23:01 PM
If anybody is seriously getting tix, let me know.
9/18/2006 12:26:16 PM
I think we might just go to the actual place and get them. Though humandrive said he'd be willing to drop $100 a pop on tickets. And here I am planning on us getting the $16.50 seats...
9/18/2006 12:26:26 PM
Sometimes it's cool to go camp outside the day of and get the front seats for $20. I only did that once, but the time passes quickly if it's a nice day and you've got a friend with you.
9/18/2006 12:29:37 PM
FYI: If you go to the ticket office at the BTI center (on the left side if you're looking at the front of it), you only have to pay $1 in ticket processing fees.
9/18/2006 4:37:56 PM
^What's the BTI center?
9/18/2006 10:51:39 PM

9/19/2006 7:23:44 AM
I'm going to look into getting tix later this week. I'm too worried about seating.. more about price.
9/19/2006 7:30:12 AM
I'm going tonight. I'll let yall know if it's any good.
9/19/2006 8:32:30 AM

9/19/2006 6:45:28 PM
I went tonight. I enjoyed it. Visually, it was amazing. The only thing that sucked was sitting in uncomfortable seats for 3 hours.
9/19/2006 11:45:53 PM
my supervisor got us some hot ass seats. i can't wait.
9/21/2006 9:56:31 AM
Since lock nazi closed my thread I'll ask here. For those of you who have been to The Lion King already, what dress would you consider appropriate? I was all prepared for suits and dresses, but then my mom suggested that work dressy casual might be more appropriate. Plus was it cold/hot in the theatre? Thanks.
10/6/2006 12:24:14 PM
Wear whatever the fuck you want. That's what I'm gonna do.
10/6/2006 12:53:24 PM
business casual.
10/6/2006 2:27:51 PM
I agree with business casual. I went to the matinee so I was really casual. They don't dress like they do in NY for the plays.
10/6/2006 5:26:34 PM
It was really good.I really liked the songs they adapted from the movie.
10/7/2006 5:39:28 PM
