A more sobering topic than the rabid reactions to the loss...Anyone know Blackman's story, details about his knee, picture of the hit, something?I'm just interested in what the future of one of our current most productive offensive players entails. Sorry to hear of it happening to him.

9/17/2006 12:37:58 PM

9/17/2006 1:16:29 PM

[old]
9/17/2006 9:46:15 PM
the fuck are you talking about oldtoday is sundayi havent seen that
9/17/2006 9:55:06 PM
im not to sure how that could be old ..
9/17/2006 9:58:56 PM
Im fairly sure in his 3rd game he couldn't get a redshirt. If he is done, what little offense we had is gone almost completely.
9/17/2006 10:34:54 PM
i think sterling hicks blew out his knee in the third game a couple of seasons ago and still got a medical redshirt, it may have been the second game though. but i think 1 play into the 3rd game shouldnt really count as a whole game.
9/17/2006 11:05:16 PM
i saw it this morning, thats why its old
9/17/2006 11:17:26 PM
If Gunzz hasnt seen it, its not oldlearn the rules people
9/17/2006 11:20:00 PM
Blackman hasn't played 25% of the season, so a medical redshirt would be possible.

So according to the injury report it is just a sprain . . . any word on how long he will be out?
9/20/2006 5:11:38 PM
andy word on aj davis?
9/20/2006 5:18:19 PM
sprain is usually 3-4 weeks.
9/20/2006 7:51:35 PM
I know he's a great kick returner but in case you havn't watched any games this year he can't get open to save his life.
9/20/2006 10:01:45 PM
he was open a couple times, and the ball was even thrown to him and hit him in the hands . . . but he dropped it And a few other times, stone skipped the ball off the ground.
9/20/2006 10:10:11 PM
It just seems to me that we have better guys in the WR mold. I know he's a playmaker but it doesn't make a difference if he never gets/holds onto the ball.
9/20/2006 10:12:36 PM
i completely agree . . . it looks like Bowens could be good, and there were a lot of times where Dunlap was wide open and the ball never came his way
9/20/2006 10:36:40 PM
Dunlap made some nYce catches last year... and obviously against SMU
9/21/2006 9:47:41 AM
You mean the 2 TDs he caught against wake forest? Oh yeah... those were brought back for holding actually, I think that was the year before... still.
9/21/2006 9:52:40 AM
^ \trolling you until the end
9/21/2006 9:53:27 AM
^^Clemson, and they were called back because John Holt couldn't line up on the line of scrimmage.
9/21/2006 9:58:25 AM
Well it should be interesting to see how/if things change with a QB who can actually read ALL of the receivers rather than just the #1 option.
