I was out hiking in Umstead the other day and came across some wild grapes. They were just begining to ripen, but most were too high to pick. I know of one spot to pick them in Cary...does anyone else know of places to pick wild grapes? Also, if you know of any blackberry patchs, that'd be great, too!

the NCSU mycologist or something like thati wouldnt trust a guide unless you know enough about fungal morphology to be able to use it[Edited on September 15, 2006 at 2:28 PM. Reason : okl]

I don't eat wild mushrooms, but I really appreciate it when my kidneys are functioning so that might have something to do with it.
