i have done it....i bought a one way ticket. went up on friday, looked at the car and then drove it home. if i didn't like it, then i would have gone back to the airport and waited for an open flight back. get good digital pics, take it to a dealership and pay to have it looked over....its worth the price.

do your researchcarfaxget lots of picspay to have it taken and checked out at another dealer / garage for an unbiased opinionnegotiate a price after you get the results in writing of the inspectionfly down and test drive it yourself or have someone you trust do itpay to have it shipped if you want to keep the milage off (got mine in phoenix)oh and be prepared to pay the sales tax when you register it in NC (3% of the purchase price)basically dont waste your time until you are sure its worth making the trip[Edited on September 15, 2006 at 2:37 AM.
