So, what's the consensus, those of you that also went to the preview?Personally, I enjoyed it. (Free didn't hurt either.)I was (rightfully) afraid that it would come off as a horrible Hitch/Anger Management clone, but it was really funny.

^I've never actually seen Hitch, and I am by no means saying it's bad.I just thought Scoundrels would be a cheesy rip-off from what I saw in the preview/Now that I've seen it, I admit that it CAN be compared to Anger Management, but is funny and original enough to be worth seeing.

i'm guessing its closer to a cheesy "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" ripoff than a Hitch/Anger Management ripoff.nm, made the assumption because of the namesthe synopsis for school for scoundrels isn't anything like dirty rotten scoundrels.[Edited on September 25, 2006 at 12:27 AM. Reason : ]

The comparison to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels could be made, but it isn't as close as Anger Management.I haven't seen Hitch, so I can't draw any conclusions on that.btw, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is one of my favorite Steve Martin movies (and also a fave in general.)
