Has anyone been there before? It's a haunted house in Greensboro. They have about 15 attractions. It's $25 for the whole thing. Kane Hodder, the original Jason from Friday the 13th, is going to be there on Friday, Oct. 13.

My best friend's family runs it and he's in it and has been for years. It's seriously one of the scariest trails I've ever been in. And when they say WOODS of terror, they're not lying. It takes like an hour+ to get through and its constant! I'm not just saying that because its my best friend-but its seriously worth it. Last year they had the guy that played the original Pin Head and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. They have a little museum type thing with original memorobilia and all kinda of cool shit in it. They have a chair made of bones that was in a scary movie. Eddie has really put the thing together nicely and spent oodles of money on it. They have a hurse sitting outside signed by some kind of famous dude from a scary movie. It's honestly one of the best set ups ever and every year they add to it and make it that much better. I went to it the first year they ever did it and last year. It's a blast!

If you go, and see the tallest, skinniest guy out there with scary makeup on-that's Addison, my best friend! He's like 6'7 or so-you can't miss him!

All the employees-except the hot chocolate sellers-dress up everynight. They have a stage for you to watch while you're in line. They have a flame throwing guy, a dancing girl, and all kinds of stuff-I don't wanna ruin it for you...

One more thing--you better hope they do "Thriller" while you're there...you'll regret missing it!

"Besides being a haunted attractions owner, I am also a Jesus freak. I started in 1991, to make money. I didn’t love Halloween, but I loved the business of Halloween. As years went on, I started worrying less about money and more about the quality of my haunt. Even though I love to make money. There’s nothing demonic or satanic about my haunted attractions. They are scary, as they are meant to be. My customers pay to get scared and I will give them their money’s worth.

Being raised in Greensboro, NC, I was raised in what is called the Bible belt. Attending church from birth until I was thirteen years old, set up the opportunity for me being saved, born again, accepting Jesus as my savior, on March 13th, 1983. As most long term Christians do, but not all, I slid into a back sliden condition after my mother and father divorced in 1989. I graduated that year, and went on to college attending different churches from time to time. But as the chasten hand of God does, I was chastened until I returned to a committed relationship with Him, and rededicated my life to the Lord on March 13th, 1999. Now I have a burning desire to tell people about Him, and that’s what it’s all about. There will hopefully come a time when you will accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Once God has convicted you with the Holy Spirit. The feeling you get when someone discusses it, and you feel funny, and wonder if it’s really real. Come on! Just a couple of quick facts, just so you’ll know.

1-The Big Bang theory was how Earth was created right? I invite you to put a cherry bomb, an M-80 or whatever, put in an apple or tomato and watch what really happens. Not pretty! Don’t use a frog please! Leave the debris there for a few days, weeks, whatever and see if you get any creations such as Earth!

2-Darwin’s theory that organisms turned into a fish, wiggled onto land, and turned into humans. Right! God created man, not a fish that turned into man. Think of human anatomy and the way it works. That just didn’t come from a fish.

3-The Bible. No man is smart enough or lived long enough to write it. That’s because God wrote through these men of God. Some men try to predict the future, and sometimes they are right, but sometimes they are wrong. Every Bible’s prediction so far, has been right. That makes me believe the rest is true.

4-When you examine the grave of Jesus there are no bones “ HE HAS RISEN”

Buddha and Mohammad are still in their graves.

He is coming again. Will you be ready? Here is how you can be...

Realize that you are a sinner, Romans 3:23. Believe that Jesus died for our sins, Romans 5:8 and paid the price for our sins, (Romans 6:23). If you believe and confess these things with your mouth you will be saved Romans 10:9. He is the only way, (John 14:6).

I’ve often thought about doing a Hallelujah House, Hell House, Judgment House, etc. There are several reasons I have decided against it. One, because I feel people are paying to be scared and to see a haunted attraction. So I will scare them. Two, the Hell Houses, etc., depict drunk drivers, abortions, suicides, as sins, and they are, but not unforgivable. Some people could interpret this, as they are doomed and going to hell. Although drunk driving and abortions don’t make God happy, they will not get you sent to hell. God will forgive you if you ask. And you will go to Heaven if you accept Jesus as your Savior. I personally don’t want to give the wrong impression that sins will send you to hell. These judgment houses also depict heaven and hell, something I cannot do, and I cannot depict how bad hell will be, seven times hotter than anything on earth. I also cannot depict how good Heaven will be. Gates of twelve feet high made of single pearl, streets of gold, foundations of jasper, etc.

With all that said, I’ll stick to a haunted attraction and just telling people about Jesus point blank, like I do at my attraction, on a video seen before they enter the attraction. If you feel empty inside, and if you don’t have joy in your life, sex, drugs, and money won’t fill that void. Only Jesus can. Amen.

I know I will receive some flack from this, Jesus said I would. But you know, that’s okay. I’ll probably receive more flack from Christians than I will from the haunted house industry. Some Christians don’t like people that are different. If you don’t look like them, dress like them, and believe like them, then you’re wrong. Christians usually don’t agree with my method of telling you about Jesus even though they haven’t shared the Gospel themselves with anyone else today. The vehicle doesn’t matter; someone coming to know Jesus is what matters. I want people to know you can have fun and be a Christian. As you can like haunted attractions too!

Woods of Terror has worked hard to spread the gospel where quite frankly, no man has gone before. The last place you would expect to hear about the plan of salvation would be at a haunted attraction. This is why I have tried to network with local youth groups to get them involved and to give them a bit of something fun to do at the same time. I invite all interested youth groups to call Woods of Terror for special discounts and offers. Most youth can attend the Woods of Terror at a large discount, and then in exchange, they stand at the exit and hand out gospel tracks to those interested in them. It is amazing to watch adults take a gospel track from a teenager and listen to how excited they are to be involved! So, all youth groups interested in this, please give us a call or email."

Kane Hodder wasn't the original Jason.

I mean I'm a Christian and all, but I have never heard stupider reasoning against evolution.

I'm thinking about going there next weekend. I don't really want to go by myself. If anyone is interested in heading up to Greensboro for it, let me know.

^^I'm not sure. Maybe you put someone else down?

I dunno. I thought I was good at unconsciously logging that stuff away.

You're not an asshole?

I just got back. It wasn't as scary as I hoped but the effects were awesome. Not alot of people jumping out. The only thing that really scared me was these air blasts that some of the attractios had. When I first went in, I went with these 6 mexicans and these 4 other people. The mexicans were scared to death...lol. They kept holding up the line because they were scared to go forward.. Later on, they split us up.. mexicans went and i was with these 4 other people.
Place was packed tonight. I think their were more people outside of Greensboro there than they were those whon in Gboro.
If you are in or around Greensboro, I would recommend going. Its worth the $25.
