If anyone is tired of using the EOS provided maple either in the labs or through remote access and would like their own copy of maple, use this code to get maple not at $99, not at $75, not at $50, but at $40 (if you download it, $50 if you want it shipped). Thanks to some retarted teacher from the university of whatever for posting it online:http://webstore.maplesoft.com/Type: studentpromotional code: AP14144UOr, if you need another version of Maple, like for MacOS with Intel, or 64 bit processors, use this code:MP000072 - the price is $50.00 for this one and download-only, but worth it if you need it.

Yes I know you can use maple through "remote access" - virtual computer lab, whatever. But if you dont LIVE on campus or you don't always have a connection to the internet and you need to do your homework, or if you just "would like [your] own copy of maple" then this is a pretty damn good solution. P.S. Anyone who uses LIMEWIRE "should be shot". Emule is where its at.

^ You don't have to live on campus to use the VCL nor do you need a broadband connection.

OK what the fuck ever. I was doing this a public service assholes. Whatever your reason, if you want maple, here it is. jesus fucking christ.

^^ don't need a broadband connection? are you fucking kidding? they're giving you a glorified VNC connection. i'd like to see you try to be productive w/ VCL on dialup.

seriously, how do you do that without broadband?

VERY slowly[Edited on September 11, 2006 at 7:03 PM. Reason : I think you'd fail out of college waiting for maple to stop being "pending"]
