I really don't even know what you're talking about. Are you from the Tri-State area? Because if you were you'd know the Mets and Yankees both have huge fanbases. There is a reason, from the time of the Mets existence, the attendance leader has been split right down the middle. In 44 years the Mets have had a higher attendance 22 times, the Yankees 22 times. The Mets were way ahead until '95 when they had some VERY BAD seasons that just happened to coincide with the Yankees last dynasty... since then the Yankees have outdrawn every year. The problem is that the neutral baseball fans in NYC are notorious bandwagoners..
