Winning the superbowl wasn't bad luck
Breaking his face because he was too arrogant to wear a helmet wasn't bad luck.

The appendix timing was bad luck, so this is his first one.
If his grandmother dies tomorrow, and then his house catches on fire, we can start talking.

but for the helmet thing; yeah he should have been wearing one. But it's pretty damn unlucky to have some lady pull out in front of you and make you wreck your bike

nah, that's just a function of a lady driving.

If women and asians weren't allowed to drive, we wouldn't need helmets, seat belts, air bags, and side impact ratings for vehicles. It's only because of the lobbying efforts of the safety industry that these people were given the right to drive.

Um, how about HE IS VERY LUCKY

He's lucky he wasn't seriously injured in the motorcycle wreck, he's lucky this happened sooner rather than later (read: before another super bowl run) and he is a super bowl champ...

I think he has nothing but luck on his side.

^just to reiterate, he was drafted by the steelers who went 15-1 and then won the super bowl. These bad things happened to him in the offseason and early season, not on his first pass of the playoffs

Well the worst part is I submitted a $375 bid (at approximately even money) on Miami yesterday afternoon that didnt get picked up yet.

So of course when i wake up this morning the line has moved to Miami +4.5 (-200)

Which means if i hedge $500, id only get a return of $250.

Basically i lost a lot of money in my sleep last night.
