The new endzone for some reason has screwed up the cheer. Something needs to be done to make everyone watch the Section 7 area to stay with the timing. We were speeding up and splitting up the endzone into WOLF/PACK it was just confussing as hell for a lot of people..probly their first fball game ever at CF. But anyways what im saying is the two groups should be NEZ/WEST and SEZ/EAST. not the 4 corners gibberish we had going on last night ha. But besides that the new endzone is the shit.[Edited on September 3, 2006 at 5:56 PM. Reason : e]

STUDENTS FUCKING SUCKED ALL GAME LONGno rythym at all
9/3/2006 5:56:23 PM
The cheerleaders are only in front of sec 6,7,8. it would help if they were in front of the NEZ and SEZ too. If we just watched the signs, we'd be fine.WHY is the visiting band STILL louder than ours!?!?!
9/3/2006 5:59:23 PM
i sat in the nez and and the sez is too far away, it didn't work.how about that slow clap to the fight song before the game that just turned into clapping within 5 seconds, that was awesome =/
9/3/2006 6:00:56 PM
its students that are too wasted to even understand whats goin on. I was in section 15 and anytime the Wolf-Pack cheer would start, there were 20-30 people that you could tell were drunk off their ass and they would way wolf like every 2 seconds, even before the other side had a chance to say Pack.
9/3/2006 6:13:51 PM
the jumbotron side was all freshmanthey don't know shit about Wolfpack football
9/3/2006 6:25:20 PM
^and you and i, and the baseball team
9/3/2006 6:30:20 PM
I like how 75-90% of the crowd only knows the "Go to hell Carolina" line.
9/3/2006 6:31:13 PM
i like how like 2% know the alma mater
9/3/2006 6:32:59 PM
yeah, and people need to learn how to clap in rhythm for the Fight Song. You're not clapping like someone won an award. And wtf. When the band stopped playing the Red/White Song half-way through, we were the only ones who finished it.
9/3/2006 6:36:45 PM
more like 1 percent
i'm part of that 2%. i also sing the fight song too.[Edited on September 3, 2006 at 6:37 PM. Reason : ]

Now that seating is on all four sides of the field fans should start a cheer like N-C-S-U where each side says a letter or word, similar to what Ohio State does in the Shoe with O-H-I-O.

9/3/2006 9:19:06 PM
the problem is we don't have a band large enough or loud enough to make it so that everyone can hear it. i love the slow clap right before the start of basketball games.

You guys are fucking stupid jsut because im a freshman you think i have never been to a state football game? My dad has had season tickets for 6 years I have been to every home game but maybe three or four.
9/3/2006 10:52:12 PM
9/3/2006 10:58:52 PM
The crowd was basically non-existent the whole game.In fact, I didn't even know we did the WOLF-PACK chant.
9/4/2006 12:21:56 AM
i blame the cheerleaders, honestly. not nearly enough cheers and a bad job at leading them. get on it, cheerleaders.
9/4/2006 1:06:56 AM
daddy's boy in first year college getting uppity
9/4/2006 1:09:42 AM
Freshman
9/4/2006 11:38:55 AM
The fucking alumni section on the west side of the stadium wouldnt respond with "pack" all game. If you're gonna blame anyone blame them for not getting into it. The students were fine from my perspective.
9/4/2006 12:20:38 PM
ANYBODY WITH THE NAME "NATE" HAS TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS, OKAY?
9/4/2006 12:47:19 PM
I was in the NEZ, im not a freshman, my junior friend and grad student friend were also in the NEZ, so not all freshmen, but I agree, I couldnt hear the band for shit down there.
9/6/2006 5:29:45 PM
I was in section 111 right beside our band and could hear App State's band over ours. That's pathetic.
9/6/2006 5:41:52 PM
Listening to the game on the radio I could hear the AppSt band... I was like.. WTF!!!
9/6/2006 6:26:37 PM
WHY we hear the visiting band so well:-They are in a corner, pointed at the NC State student section (8,7,6)-Their positioning is ideal to project sound off the sides of the stadium, cross-crossing all the way down.WHY we cannot hear our own band:-They sit in the SEZ (use to be NEZ) and points towards the opposite endzone.-Because they sit in the SEZ, the sound goes straight down the field, and by the time it reaches the NEZ, it's very hard to hear.
