My dell lptop is hving key bord problems. It will either a) not type the letter a, or b) incessantly type the letter a. I've removed the cap and cleaned, and i can't feel any stickyness. So where can I go to get this fixed? I bought it at a dell stand in the mall.

the Dell Kiosks at the mall tend not to be too helpful with tech support (since they're mainly there for sales anyway). if it's just something where you've not been to careful with keeping it clean, there are some ways to get things cleaned up. however, i've seen several Dell laptop keyboards that have stopped working correctly b/c of manufacturing problems.

I'd agree, it's smart to give tech support a phone call if you're still under warranty (which is why we NCSU IT folks always recommend a full three years). can't tell you how many people i've seen with busted laptops and an expired warranty, and it's kinda sad.
