anyone used them before?I have some scratches, dings, cuts on both of my bumpers and i brought it over to Raleigh Auto Body and the guy told me that he could repair it. Other places i went to all told me that because of the cut in the bumper, they couldnt repair it but that they would have to replace both bumpers. But Raleigh Auto Body told me that they could. I guess what i wanna know is how good of a job is this going to be if i let the guys at Raleigh Auto Body repair, not replace, my bumpers. If anyone who's been to Raleigh Auto Body has a before/after pics of their car, it would help me out...i just wanna see the QUALITY of work.

Most places just replace bumpers due to the amount of work needed to properly repair cracks/ cuts.It is totally possible to fix them to just like new, but it depends on how much you pay for the job. It is going to cost a couple of pretty pennies for a proper job.

well the labor charges came out to be around $950that is, to repair both bumpers and the quarter-panelfront bumper has a foot long scratch on the driver side (paint chips all the way, indented), also it has a foot long scratch on the front bumper spoiler on the passenger side (paint chips all the way, indented. The rear bumper has a cut on the passenger side. Also, around the license plate, there are some minor scratches and dents. the quarter panel has a ding in it from the fucking shopping cart being rammed into it. (it was a very windy day)now to replace both bumpers and repair the front spoiler scratch and the quarterpanel ding, the estimate came out to be around $1500. That included replacing both bumpers and repairing the front spoiler scratch and the quarterpanel ding.good prices? or should i go somewhere else? oh and i would like some more feedback or comments about Raleigh Auto Body Works.

I have had very good results from there before

I found a rec for them here in the garage a few months ago when I needed some minor body work done. I HIGHLY recommend them. They charged me far less than anyone else I went to in the area and did great work. I've sent a few friends there since and they have all had good experiences too. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos to show you.

as long as i can find someone to paint my bumper the proper color, i dont care if its crayola.
9/1/2006 7:05:49 PM
Color match isnt quite the problem it used to be. If you are really worried about it you can take your car to Carquest and they can scan it and print out the exact mix code for it. Thats what I had to do when I put the hood on the Cutlass.
