Just saw this on CNN. It happened a couple of hours ago. Two people were injured but nothing life-threatening apparently. I searched for more information but haven't found any yet. Just a heads up in case anyone has family there.

yeah they interrupted passions for this. a girl was shot in the shoulder and a guy hit by broken glass. Suspect is in custody and the school remains on lockdown.

I work at a vet clinic like 10 or 15 miles from there. I think I applied for a lateral entry teaching position if one came up there at the start of the summer (but orange county school positions are too in demand from what I was told for them to usually consider lateral entry).

but regardless if there is a ban or not, if someone wants to bring a weapon within that given distance and cause harm they are going to regardless of what the law says about weapons near a school
