Couple of things here.....1. Good place to get a starter rebuilt? $321.00 for a new one!!! FUCK THAT NOISE!!! 2. Why the hell would the bike sputter out, then start dumping fuel out of the carb overflow tube (and I mean a constant and steady flow)? Even with the petcock in the off position? Off, On, and Res, didn't matter, petcock position didn't slow the fuel leak one bit. We started tapping on the carb and it stopped though. None of that makes sense to me at all. After we stopped the leak, we towed the bike to the top of a hill and tried push starting it and just didn't want to fire. 3. Busted the gas tank twice now and JB Weld seems to only hold back the leaks for a short while. I have another tank but it needs to be cleaned and lined...any suggestions there?Me gots meself a handful of headaches here. Items 1 and 2 are absolutely crucial as the bike is pretty much my daily driver right now. [Edited on August 29, 2006 at 1:39 PM. Reason : d]

1. Take it to Toxic customs right next to ray price.2.your floats might be stuck open(Tap on it with something)3.Fill it with lil gas and throw a shit load of bolts and nuts in there and shake the fuck out of it.

That's why we tapped on the carb, to see if float was stuck. That stopped the leaking...but doesn't make sense why it kept leaking for 10 minutes with the petcock turned off??? And then after the float issue was fixed, whuy wouldn't it fire right back up while push starting it? It ALWAYS fires right up. Just doesn't make sense to me.

pull the line off the pet cock see if it working and pull the plug out see if it is wet or not if it is wet burn it with lighter see if it be sparking then see if it will start[Edited on August 29, 2006 at 2:08 PM. Reason : what kinda a bike is this?]

1. Price/quality/past experience shopping...after getting a $321 quote on a new part. 2. We were already trying to tap the float prob out before I ever even talked to you. And I don't recall you having much else to say about the continued gas flow with the petcock 'off.' 3. I found someone to also paint my old/new tank by posting here, so go fuck yourself. YARRRRRRR!!!!!! Jagers on YOUR tab immediately!

Um, it won't start. Getting power to the starter. But the starter just gives a little click and that's it. Same thing happened about a week ago and I just push started it. Then the starter worked fine...until the fuel problem popped up. Convenient, huh? Come on over and take a peak. I'm just finishing clearing a spot under the car port to work on it while it's raining.

^^^1. i already told you the place on westgate would hook a nigga up more than anyone around (unless dan wants to stab his dick at it)2. i said the other day it had to be excess gas from the carb, overflow, or lines from the petcock. that's the only possibility, i've verified the operation of that damn thing more than i'd like. i mean, for it to still flow the petcock valve itself would have to have failed, AND the check valve that requires vacuum OR vacuum would have to be present on that line. you're probably more likely to be struck by lightning.3. oh, damn well there's a load off... saves you that $2 and 10 minutes with a spray can still doesn't solve the issue of having it boiled/lined, which is the main one (of which i reccomended the best place to you also).
