has anyone figured out how to put the cone equation in, i thought i was on the right track with this....((pi)*(mu)*(omega)*(H)*(sin(theta)))/2*a
8/31/2006 9:07:54 PM
you're on the right track...it's not sin theta

what is it then? tan?

^ No joke. Anybody?????

All the other problems are easy, those two are a bitch and i cant figure them out, i thought it would just be.... P= tau*A
9/1/2006 4:15:50 PM
what would the area be on that problem? pi*d*L??
9/1/2006 4:48:32 PM
((pi)*(mu)*(omega)*((.025)/(cos(30)))*(((.025)*(tan(30)))^3))/(2*a)

check his old tests for the third problem. theres one almost the same on the spring of 2003 test1. just make sure you convert the SG to density to viscosity, then you'll have it.
