Interested in a trade-in + cash? I have a 2005 Pearl Export Fusion kit + cymbals and hardware that I'd trade for it plus give you some extra compensation...if not, I'd be willing to sell the kit to any of you assuming I could then get my hands on those Orions & hardware[Edited on August 27, 2006 at 11:18 PM. Reason : PM me if interested]
8/27/2006 11:17:22 PM
haha why would someone want to sell an orion and pick up an export?come to think of it, why would someone want to sell an orion?
8/27/2006 11:35:50 PM
haha i don't know, but i want it and all i have to offer is my kit and my cash. but i don't have much cash, so the kit has to help
8/27/2006 11:50:56 PM
$1100
8/28/2006 12:10:59 AM
No, I did not win this kit. I bought them new and have had them for 3 years or so. I paid $3,000 for the kit and most of the hardware. The extra hardware was about $300. The cymbals were about $700 new. So that's about 4 grand invested.

Sorry, Ealincol is my girlfriend just so you guys know. I forgot that she was logged into her account....
8/28/2006 8:32:48 AM

8/28/2006 8:41:15 AM
No, the drums are mine, I was just using my girlfriend's account. Sorry for the confusion.
8/28/2006 1:09:57 PM
so, not interested in some Export beaters? not to say they ARE beaters, they're in pristine condition, but if you're coming off some Orions it might seem that way
8/28/2006 2:56:05 PM
Nope, im trying to get cash for them. Thanks anyway.

8/29/2006 9:03:04 AM
so im guessing you arent willing to part out? most people who would be interested in this set already have a kit and would be looking to upgrade the drums and not the hardware/cymbals.
8/29/2006 10:27:19 AM
You would basically need all of the hardware except the snare stand, hi hat stand, and bass drum pedal in order to mount the drums b/c of the Mapex suspension system uses a specific type of tom holder. So you would still need the 2 cymbal-tom stands and the double tom stand.
8/29/2006 2:15:36 PM
Skack, I might be able to sell the drum shells alone without the hardware or cymbals for $1100. Let me know.
8/29/2006 2:19:30 PM
Can you be more specific about "without the hardware?" Would it just be the drumset minus cymbals, pedal, and stands? Would it include the drum mounts that I could clamp onto my own stands?
8/29/2006 2:41:30 PM
rsguy: check your pms. i asked about checking out the drums.
8/29/2006 2:55:23 PM
Skack, it would include the drum shells and the tom holders. The thing is, the bass drum does not have a tom mount drilled into it. Most high-end drums dont have obstructed shells. Also, there are no floor toms. So, in order to mount the toms, you will need clamps that will clamp to your existing stands and clamp to the tom holders. Either that or a drum rack. Let me know
