Dude, you need to provide us with a LOT more information for us to help you.-What browser are you using? What version is it?-Have you tried a second browser yet?-What operating system are you using?-Have you scanned for spyware recently?-What software programs are running in the background (antivirus, popup blocker, etc.)?

biggest things imho are what specific error are you getting? (404 not found? server error? timeout?)see if you can ping http://www.compusa.com, if you can't, it's typically a firewall issue.if you can ping http://www.compusa.com and can't access it via browser, typically it's a browser issue.if you CAN'T see it in one browser, but CAN see it in another browser, it's most def. a browser issue.if you can't see it in more than one browser, it's most def. not a browser issue.some simple reasoning can get you a more refined diagnosis.also check to see if somehow the address was added to your blacklist or adblock.[Edited on August 28, 2006 at 3:27 PM. if multiple browsers and pinging don't work, it could also be something in your hosts file. if your hosts file is clean (which it won't be if you did the spybot search and destroy immunizations) then you might want to try resetting your router. I know it sounds dumb, but the netgear router we use at work will cause certain pages to not load until the router is reset (power on/off not reset to defaults.)I'd call it a toss up between hosts file and router-fart (yeah a real technical term I know.) Your browser can obviously load the page itself, you just can't talk to that URL. Search your hosts file for any reference to that url or domain. If you see it linked to 127.0.0.1 then something was naughty and decided you shouldn't shop there. While loading the compusa page, something redirects to another IP adress (no url). It's possible that's being blocked in the hosts file too. That would be a little harder to see intuitively.A word about spybot's immunizations- If you activate these there's a good chance slickdeal LINKS won't work because they're redirected through an adserve and tracking site that's on spybot's black list.
