What is funny about this thread is that just about ALL of the press supported Herb....and yet most fans wanted him gone. Just about ALL of the press wants Chuck gone, and still most fans want him here. I just don't understand the differences in the two.

plus Herb wasn't an alum. Amato's an alum, so he gets more slack. that's just the reality of it. however, being an alum, he should know how important it is to the fans to beat the school down the street.

if he consistently can't do that in the future, he'll be in the hotseat.
