I have a Olympus D-580 (wifes actually) and Im trying to take some super upclose shots of some of my corals. However, I cannot seem to focus at any distance other than a few feet away from the tank. I have tried all the settings on the cam, I have tried force focusing and whatnot, but all the pics I try to take come out blurry and unuseable. I can post some screens if its unclear what Im trying to do.Is there some technique Im not using or is this camera just too crappy for what I want it to do?

yes there is a minimum focus distance, unless you have a camera where you can change the lenses (and put on a close up one on) you are SOL

The macro modes dont do crap. While Im looking at the screen and taking a macro pic it comes into focus perfect for an instant, but then the pic it takes is blurred to hell. I guess this is just a shitty cam for what im trying to do.
