Some of you may have read on here already how these 2 came about. My Dad was going to get the mower out about 2 weeks ago, and these 2 kittens were under it. (He didn't turn it on or anything!) Well, he left them alone but they found their way to our porch where the food is when we realized they were abandoned. They were wild as hell at first, but now, they're the SWEETEST kittens ever. They purr all the time and love dogs and other cats. They're so soft and sweet, and they take baths. They've had 3 baths each now because they tend to get themselves into dirty things to play: plants, mud, poop, ANYTHING! We don't know how long they were abandoned under the mower or anything like that. Since they only had each other for a while, they're really attached to one another as you can imagine. I insist that whoever gets one takes the other. They're attached and I can't stand to separate them. They're about 6 weeks old (not positive, but weaned)They eat kitten food only, there's no mother around hereThey clean hemselves and each otherI'm not positive of their sexesThey've had flea baths (3)The calico one has an orange mark on its head in the shape of the Playboy bunny. I thought that was really neat. And as with most tabby's, the dark one had a black 'M' on its forehead and has a golf ball-sized white spot on its back. They like to be purred to and come running at the first sound of your voice.Suppertime! After bath Aftermath!Played out"I'm trying to eat!" --BrownieOrangie--Serious interest only please! Again, they MUST go together! You can have them as soon as next Tuesday when I get to Raleigh. [Edited on August 17, 2006 at 10:23 PM. Reason : he]

BTTT! I forgot to mention they use a litter box pretty well also. They are fine indoors or out.

They've begging for a new home! They want to love someone else besides me all the time!

i sent this to a girl i am seeing. but she doesnt want both of them, she can only have one.

Sorry, I have to let them go together. They're too needy with one another. Tell her how Gizmo had to have a buddy, and see if you can talk her into 2![Edited on August 18, 2006 at 5:17 PM. Reason : o]

One person interested...

If my roommate didn't have a dog that would tear them to pieces, I'd be all over that. Calicos are always female, btw (so that narrows it down).

Yeah, I remember that, I just totally forgot to mention that. I do know the calico is girl but not sure of the tabby. Thanks for reminding me! They sure are cute, folks!

calicos aren't always female. there's always a 1 in 200 shot of an XXY male... though they're usually sterile. oh, and they're adorable.

Dang it! Do you understand that with all the kittens I have gotten rid of on here, I have added that tidbit of information in the initial post?!!! This time, I just figured that by now, everyone on here has read my kitten threads and they know it! lol

You're a moron, whoever you are.

I might be able to take them

to sex your two kittens: while KittyB is entirely right that your calico *could* be male, its unlikely. SO you can compare the two genital regions and if they are the same = both female, different then the gray is maleA rule of thumb is that the closer the 2 openings (anus + penis, or anus + vagina), means female, further away means male.
8/20/2006 10:50:22 AM
I just checked and I'm gonna have to guess that the tabby is male. Thanks for that! ^^I'll definitely let you know then if the girl I'm talking to doesn't want them! [Edited on August 20, 2006 at 12:06 PM. Reason : ]

They really do better in pairs
8/20/2006 8:50:24 PM
Yes, but sometimes people already have one, and they only want one. But these 2 are attached and I insist these go as a pair. They're so precious!
