8/16/2006 3:04:53 PM

ah ok - i must have had a menu around here then - i know i knew the prices before i went last time - i think all of the fish was under 20 - if you like their add-on deal where you can pick 1 of a few styles then it's good - mango salsa / pan-asian style / etc
8/16/2006 3:10:49 PM
^^Thanks I saw that but no price... and ^Didyou get dessert, were there really just three?
8/16/2006 3:14:53 PM
sorry, I figured the prices would be on the menu^^maybe check out triangle.citysearch.com, read some reviews about the placeits been very good everytime I've gone, and fairly expensive
8/16/2006 3:14:57 PM
yeah I went before but I wasn't paying so I didn't really pay attention to the prices and it was a while ago.. I've eaten so much in between now and then...
8/16/2006 3:16:05 PM
its owned (or was at one point in time) by the same group that owns carrabas and outback
8/16/2006 3:16:18 PM
8/16/2006 3:19:17 PM
Never been there but highly recommended by one of my friends.
8/16/2006 3:21:07 PM
^^yes I read it, and there were only three, I thought that was kind of a low number for a place with a variety of meats[Edited on August 16, 2006 at 3:22 PM. Reason : .]

the one in high point as been closed down for a while
8/16/2006 3:25:58 PM
I believe that's the same thing we have here at Southpoint - either Bonefish, or Rockfish or something. The logo looks the same. The calamari was really good.If you don't mind the drive, go to Squid's in Chapel Hill. It is awesome, my family and I go around once a month. The halibut I had last time was excellent, in this tasty dijon sauce with beets and asparagus. http://www.squidsrestaurant.com

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't eat fish (lmao) shrimp, calamari, crab, and lobster (I was thinking about the grilled lobster tails). Ne who, I may try it out one day with my buddy at UNC.

You have questions?...I probably have answers....Prices average at ~$18 an entree including an awesome! side and seasonal side. $2.50 more gets you a house or ceasar salad. Open hours Mon. -Thurs. 4pm-10:30, Fri. & Sat. 4pm-11:30, and Sun. 4pm-10Resevations can be made but not required. Three desserts are offered, sometimes there are more depending on the season....bananas foster or strawberry short cake. Also daily dinner and drink specials. What else do ya wanna know?
8/16/2006 5:31:45 PM
if you know anyone that works at outback or carrabbas take em along, discount!
8/16/2006 5:38:38 PM
bonefish is really goodi wouldn't consider it to be any more expensive than the outback or carrabas, but a lot of people on this site think paying more than $25 for a dinner for two is highway robbery...
8/16/2006 5:47:19 PM
it's marginal, in price and quality.
8/16/2006 6:41:00 PM
I didn't think it was expensive but def good. I was mentioning it to some ppl who think Outback is expensive, that's why I thought I was asking. But it was worth the money...
8/16/2006 10:58:18 PM
who in the world thinks Outback is expensive? It's overpriced, but expensive? That's silly.
8/16/2006 11:00:08 PM
^Random girl at checkout in the mall... I was looking for something to wear to dinner and I said something about stopping by outback yesterday to pick up dinner, and she were like girl,I have to go there when someone else is paying for it, it's too expensive. Well, I told her I was going to Bonefish, and I think she bout peed her pants, so since I forgot the cost, I figured I'd ask... You woulda thought I said I was going to Ruth's Chris
8/16/2006 11:10:05 PM
Ha, that's funny. I mean I don't mean to sound like a snob, but damn. That's just silly - instead of spending money at places that are chains like Outback and complain it's expensive, why don't people spend the same at a local place that has better food quality. ugh.
8/16/2006 11:12:56 PM
I hate the sides at bonefish, especially the spagetti. It's worse than the canned variety.
8/16/2006 11:21:48 PM
^^Well I am addicted to Cheese fries, and of all the ones I've tasted I like theirs the best. So I usually get that and shrimp orthe grilled lobster tails. But if u know of a good local place with great cheese fries I'll eat there...[Edited on August 16, 2006 at 11:24 PM. Reason : .]

8/17/2006 12:17:16 AM
my friend's dad plays in the duke children's classic every year and outback would usually cater the lunch, it was pretty ok.i love the classic - free shit everywhere. powerade, dove bars, m&ms, coke products, frisbees, sun visors, hats, tshirts.
