they never really checked the permit lots on centennial last year

so it could still possibly be "free"

but they'll probably actually check this year since they changed everything

i don't know that it necessarily stands for anything.

what do any of the "A", "B", "C", "F" and all the others stand for. Like "DE" is east campus resident parking and "DW" is west campus resident parking. But what does the D in those stand for?

They took the regular "E" permit and split it into:

EM - "E" permit Main campus
EC - "E" permit Centennial

i've gotten a warning and an actual parking ticket on centennial in a permit lot over the summer, so i'm pretty sure they check it now

A is the pimp permit, you can park anywhere
B is anywhere but A
C is anywhere but A and B

so it is slightly logical

F is for fraternity and then permimeter parking was also dubbed F to keep the number of different types of permints down

That is not correct at all.

Well, for starters, load the PDF back up and turn your head a little to the left, where it explains that an A1 can't park in an A2; A2 can't park in A4, etc.

Then, turn your head back to the little chart and look at the B permit, which can park in B, C, EC, EM, F, and S only.

Then we drop down a line to the C permit which says you can only park in C, EC, EM, F, and S spaces.

You see, even with my super-awesome C permit, I can't park in the Coliseum Deck without getting a ticket.
