Just got informed of this, wish to hell I wasn't allocated to so many other projects. My client is looking for a very it/tech/gadget saavy person to install, test and troubleshoot a wide range of prototype consumer electronic PC peripherals. This could include anything from portable MP3/Video players, phones, remotes, gaming devices, cameras, storage devices, networking devices etc. All the devices you will be working with would be new to market prototypes so I'm looking for someone who is quick on their feet and tech saavy more than experienced in any particular set of software or hardware knowledge. This would be a part time position, for probably the next 6-8 months. No idea on pay, but definitely not going to be working minimum wage at all.Basically you get to play with the new stuff from a TON of different companies and when stuff goes wrong, do everything possible to fix it.This position is in Cary, NC and would be a 9-5 type deal, hours flexible.PM/IM/email me tyler@snotmonkey.com if interested. Please have a resume handy as well as past references.[Edited on August 15, 2006 at 5:01 PM. Reason : .]

What does "9-5 type deal, hours flexible" mean?
8/15/2006 8:02:22 PM
It means you wont be working weekends or nights. ~20 hours a week between the hours of 9-5 and they will probably be able to work with you on exact work times depending on your schedule (especially applicable to students)

damn i wish i was a student and could do this...get paid to play with new toys....

You dont have to be a student, in fact, im sure they would prefer a non-student.
