Is not Cory Holt. This dude has been there forever, it seems like. I wish he was the starter, trying to give some love to a fellow NC native (lexington high school).

i sat w/ a VT recruit at the panthers game the other nightkwamaine battle defensive tackle

there is suprisingly little noise coming from VT this year...............will they suck or are they just doing a good job of flying under the radar?
8/14/2006 3:21:13 PM
^ I would say a little bit of bothThat too, and a smart farmer (coach) doesn't count their chicken's (potential team talent and season) before they hatch (when college football actually begins)...
8/14/2006 3:27:48 PM
^I know, but usually the media is riding their nuts by this time of year. I guess it's just that they don't have a vick at QB this year.
8/14/2006 3:31:13 PM
^that's it
8/14/2006 3:39:06 PM

I played with Cory at Lexington. I was a wideout for him. Yes I am bias, but he should get the starting position. The only reason that he has not yet has been because of his knowledge of the playbook. I am hoping that the Glennon will be the first starter, he will have a great couple of games but will not live up to the expectations (Vickism, kinda like our Riverism) and then they will put in Cory and he will take over. Although, Whitaker is looking good. Gotta represent L-town.

Redshirt sophomore Sean Glennon....never heard of this guy.http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2548651

^^^no, but close. He lived right at an intersection in a long cinder block house. The land has since been bought by my uncle who plans to build a house there. There is an old store on the corner (Joyce's) that has been everything from an antique store to a mexican bakery but cannot get enough business to survive.I was a couple years behind Peppers at Bailey Elementary so I really don't remember him until Middle School. The trailor park rumors probably came from when he stayed near an Hispanic/Haitian migrant camp at the end of the road. That camp was pretty violent by the way. One of our farmhands, a Haitian who looks like the dude off of the Red Stripe commercials was decapitated there during a cockfight/gambling night.Peppers' aunt was my Teacher Assistant in 3rd grade. We had sports day with posters and jerseys from different NBA/NFL and all of the sports stars were black. She noticed that I wasn't interested and then gave me a Larry Bird picture. "Here you go honey, I gots you a White superstar" I was in awe. Been a Larry Bird fan ever since.

WHO CARES ABOUT VT....WHO CARE WHEN THEIR HYPE STARTS......THEY WILL STILL CHOKE IN THE BIG GAMES LIKE THEY DO EVERY YEAR.....FUCK THEM....ALL THEY ARE IS A BUNCH OF CRIMINALS....THAT PROGRAM IS MAKING MIAMI LOOK CLEAN

Cory Holt could play some damn basketball too. He could have played college ball too.I don't know if it is true, but suppossedly he wanted to play here for Chuck and Chuck told him we had our QBs for the next few years. GG Chuck I would love to have this guy.Cory is only a redshirt sophomore so he has plenty of time and for my money Frank Beamer is the best ACC coach and I fucking hate him.

Did anyone else see that a bunch of Hokie Football alums aka The Atlanta Falcons were slap fighting yesterday. MeAngelo Hall was slap fighting with a rookie free agent...Matt Lehr fought Lawyer Milloy and last but not least...Jimmy Williams got into it with WR Roddy White and White threw a punch while williams had his helmet off...then body slamed Williams.GG Hokies...bunch of punks.

Yeah he was a good 4 in bball for Lexington. he wanted to come here, he would have had to go to Hargrave with Blackman still, which would have been kinda nice to see them both come here together. Lexington will beat Thomasville this year. Mark my words. Sorry should be another post, but whatever.
8/16/2006 10:51:19 AM
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA..LEXINGTON WILL BE THOMASVILLE..you've got to be kidding me. When was the last time lexington beat thomasville? We have one of the best running backs in the state don't forget
