I drive a 99 2door honda accord.. about a week ago a high pitch sound started coming from my back right tire only when driving 65-70+ mph; now its happening when i get to 45-50mph; sounds like something is rubbing or grinding together; the noise subsides when I apply the brakes; dont really know shit about mechanics, wondering if anyone could help me out

you confuse me a little with the two different types of sounds that, to me, would indicate unique issues.the high-pitched noise:if it were your brakes, then the sound would be more intense when you brake. my guess would be that you have a) a worn tire; or b) a loose trim or body panel.the grinding noise:bad wheel bearing?[Edited on August 10, 2006 at 2:00 PM. While we're talking brakes/rotors, this OEM parts dude down here says that he's got a complete set of OEM rotors on a chassis thats got 2000 miles on it. Should I steer clear or if the things look ok on visual inspection, would these be safe?I mean, one metal disc is the same as other metal discs right?
