I talked to one of the advisors in Nelson this morning, and she strongly recommended I take BUS 305 before BUS 480. Does anyone have an opinion on that? I am currently registered to do the opposite, and I don't want to be completely lost in the class. Also, I am registered for Padilla - any thoughts on him beyond what's on school tool? Thanks!

In my opinion, i don't think you need to worry about being lost. If you do that, i dont think you'll have a problem. I took 305 before 480, but i mean its not like 305 helped me so much for 480. I recommend schanz for 305, really good professor and knows his shit. For 480, i had tyler, pretty good professor. I haven't heard much about Padilla though, sorry.

isn't 305 a prereq for 480?

everything is a pre-req for 480

i was thinking about taking 305 to help with my minor, but i'm taking bus 370, bus 478(i think thats the number) and bus 360 for the 9 hours you have to do along with bus201 and acc 210

You won't have a problem.I took 305 online during the summer and learned NOTHING whatsoever in it (I'll regret that in my business law course in my MBA...) and got an A- in 480.You're straight, but you'd be even straighter in Czarnecki's class, but I'll bet he's been full for awhile, for good reason Padilla's a good second option, though

I dunnoPadilla was my #1 for 480

Thanks guys! I appreciate the input. I think 305 is actually a prereq, but I don't usually pay attention to that unless Tracks won't let me register for a class for that reason. Sounds like it'll be fine though....and yeah, judging by the grade distribution, I would have loved to get Czarnecki, but his class was filled up long before I got to register.
