I have an account that I get a pretty good business discount on. If there is anyone who wants to buy a computer or anything else on Dell's site just let me know what you want and I will give you at least 10-25% off. Customize what you want and email it to me. Make sure to choose from the small business part of the website because the products may be different on the consumer side.I did this about 6 months ago and had about 6 people from here purchase computers. Everyone saved about 20%.troneal@gmail.com

so you can't get % off home purchases then?couldnt have helped with this? http://slickdeals.net/#p7910
8/8/2006 3:31:21 PM
I am talking about a discount on anything on their site.. not their promotional sales..
8/8/2006 3:38:19 PM
im lost, the sales areon their sites. when you clicked the link posted you went to dells site.dell is constantly running sales, can you not beat those or should we just keep watching for the best deals ourselves and not buy thru u?
8/8/2006 5:39:42 PM
What I am saying is that the sales are limited to only those things which they want to offer a sale on.I am offering a discount on anything on their site not just those items which are already on sale.
8/9/2006 9:20:38 AM
bump
8/9/2006 1:34:50 PM
yea this doesnt make sense, why would someone spend more to save 20% when they can just do the promos for less?[Edited on August 9, 2006 at 2:36 PM. Reason : /]
8/9/2006 2:35:47 PM
I am not sure why this is so hard to understand. The promos are for certain computer models and those models only. Someone may want a computer model that is not one of the current promos. There are only a few models that are on dell's promos. Usually older models. I am offering a discount on any of the models. Even if it came out yesterday. If there is a promo on the model that you want then you would get the promo price minus a discount from me. So the promos would be even cheaper.Comprende?
8/9/2006 2:44:06 PM
i understand and actually think i will take you up on it
8/9/2006 2:48:09 PM
so what price can you offer on the deal synapse posted?
8/9/2006 2:52:53 PM
neon,1) Go to the dell website.2) Go to the small business section.3) Choose notebook or desktop. (or anything else in that section)4) Find the computer you like and customize it.5) Copy & paste or send saved details of your customized computer and email it to me at troneal@gmail.com6) I will talk to my rep and see what kind of price I can get for you on that specific computer you want with the options you want.7) I will then email and let you know what the price would be.8) You respond to my email and let me know if you want me to place the order for you.THE END
8/9/2006 4:38:36 PM

so you can only get like $50 off their TV's? Any TV's you get a decent discount?
8/10/2006 1:17:52 PM
I can get much more off than $50. That is what The Raven said he could do.I believe I can do that 32" LCD for $1,000 but I need to double check. For those that are interested in any computers or tv's let me know asap so I can get back to you with a price. I am placing a large order tomorrow.[Edited on August 10, 2006 at 1:28 PM. Reason : .]
8/10/2006 1:28:36 PM
Yeah, good luck with that. Again, I work for Dell and I know how much margin is on them and Dell would be LOSING money currently selling a 32" for $1k Again, do your research before thinking someone has "hookups" on business models. With online coupons and what not, you can usually come out alot cheaper on the Home office division. As you can see above on the E310, any average person can order it for $200 LESS than business "hookups".[Edited on August 10, 2006 at 1:34 PM. Reason : SD]
8/10/2006 1:32:39 PM
ive done my reaserch.got quotes from several different places, coupons and such, and this guy's deal is definately better for certain things.
8/10/2006 2:54:25 PM
I also have some best buy gift cards to sell. I will provide proof that the funds are on the card when I deliver them to you. Plus you can always check the balance online. The reason I have these is that I need the cash right now and the only way I can pickup some cash in a hurry is to buy these cards with my Best Buy credit account and sell them. There is no gimmick, I am just in need of the cash and this is one of the only resources I have. The other is my Dell account. That is why I am selling dell equipment at a discount and taking a loss b/c again its the only resource I have to get some cash together in a hurry. I have done this in the past with Dell. A number of people have taken me up on it and have gotten a great computer for a great deal. Lafta is one of themHere is what I have to sell from Best Buy:$500 gift cards for $450$1000 gift cards for $900I can do larger. Just take 10% off the amount you want and that is what I would charge you. Let me know asap.
8/10/2006 4:10:11 PM
8/10/2006 10:10:25 PM
talk to lafta. He bought a couple computers from me about 7 months ago. I get a discount but it isn't anything other people can't get. The difference is that I am also taking off my own discount. Read my post above about the best buy cards.I am not trying to rip anyone off....in fact the fact that I am willing to lose some money in order get some much needed cash works out great for you.
8/10/2006 11:46:34 PM
Yeah, and if Lafta would've came to me first (or asked around), he could've got an even better deal. Lafta has no reason not to believe you got him a great deal because he doesn't know otherwise. I'm simply telling everyone that the deals you are trying to offer them aren't exactly the best deals out there, and in fact, might possibly cost them more money than if they simply order it themselves. Yeah, you might get one or two people a great deal, but nine times out of ten, the best deals are just going online and doing self-research beforehand. The thing will Dell is, you don't need some "hookup" to get something cheap. From a sales standpoint, the person selling the items is going to have some markup, otherwise, they aren't making any money for Dell nor themselves. You don't become a sales person by selling things with a negative margin.
8/10/2006 11:58:43 PM
Dude..seriously.. are you that big of a tool? Relax.. a number of people thought differently.People will save money b/c i am willing to lose money so I get some cash quickly. Is that really difficult to understand. If you needed cash and decided to sell your tv to get some quick cash would that be any different. You sell it for less than you bought it for so you lose money..but you needed the cash right then so thats what was more important. I am just using the resources I have.. In the process many of the people on this board will save money on some dell stuff. Get it? If you don't need or want a computer just go do something else with your time except hanging around here and wasting everyones time reading you ramble.[Edited on August 11, 2006 at 1:21 AM. 8/11/2006 1:19:23 AM
If you sell a TV for less than you paid for, that you own, then yes, you lose money. If you hook someone up with a good deal for a major corporation that you are not even employed with, how do you as an individual make money off this, as this seems to be what you are stating. Are you selling stock in the company for less than you payed or something? Are you really Michael Dell in disguise and selling your product on TWW because the company is in financial jeopardy? If you answered no to any of the two above questions, then perhaps you will see it's not your "prices", but you trying to act like you are getting some gain off this. Simply explain how you can sell products you don't own and make profit?[Edited on August 11, 2006 at 3:14 AM. Reason : .][Edited on August 11, 2006 at 3:14 AM. Reason : ugh]

RaveN,I AM NOT TRYING TO MAKE MONEY!I AM TRYING TO USE THE RESOURCES THAT I HAVE (DELL ACCOUNT AND BEST BUY ACCOUNT) TO GET THE CASH I NEED QUICKLY. I AM WILLING TO LOSE A LITTLE MONEY IN ORDER TO GET MY HANDS ON THE CASH QUICKLY.MY LOSS IS OTHER PEOPLES GAIN.THOSE ROXBORO SCHOOLS REALLY LET YOU DOWN IF YOU ARE TOO DUMB TO UNDERSTAND.GET A LIFE.[Edited on August 11, 2006 at 9:26 AM.
