I need to borrow a welder or get somebody to help me with some welding on my truck. A small place on the body where there was some rust and cut it out. The other is on the frame. Anybody up to it?

^Yeah he is; has everything in his garage at home now. At least what his sorry ass told me.And from what I understand, pwnt is moving in with him. Now NOTHING will get done because of all the drunken shenanigans going on now!To weld sheetmetal, you really need shielding gas; I have found out the hard way that flux core doesn't do thin sheetmetal well without significant burnthrough. It's because of the polarity you have to use. Reverse it, and there's not enough penetration to float the slag very well. And what sucks? I don't have argon or Unamix or CO2.[Edited on August 4, 2006 at 8:28 PM. Reason : goddammit. I need a f'in' bottle.]
