^ Warner? You've got to be kidding me
8/4/2006 4:29:09 PM
he does have 2 outstanding receivers
8/4/2006 4:30:47 PM
^^ He will have tons of yards if he doesn't get hurt, they are one of biggest passing teams in the NFL.
8/4/2006 4:32:03 PM
8/4/2006 4:32:04 PM
i can see him getting hurt
8/4/2006 4:32:52 PM
^
8/4/2006 4:34:33 PM
did Arizona keep Josh McCowan? Cause if so I see him getting most of the playing time over Warner and Leinhart
8/4/2006 4:41:04 PM
no, he is in Detroit.
8/4/2006 4:42:32 PM
Leinart won't even sign before camp is atleast halfway over. They won't play him at all the whole year. And with those receivers, Warner can just throw it near them and they'll usually get it.

TO will be suspended for too many games to lead the NFL in any stats
8/4/2006 7:47:30 PM
Not to mention that Bledsoe will be throwing to TO, so he'll be lucky to get top 10 in any category.

too bad we can't go back and bring up Heisman threads from 2003 that had LJ listed as a slight outsider for winning itLJ was running all over defenses at PSU, but half of you people wouldn't give him credit and said that his success was a product of LJ racking up yards against weak teamsnow over half of y'all think he's a top rb in the league
8/6/2006 11:48:53 PM
^you are an idiot. Predicting that someone would not win the heisman has nothing to do with predicting they would or would not be good in the NFL.Furthermore, weak competition is a valid and reliable reason for discounting predictions of success.Lastly, the only people who are really hurt by LJ's success are those who predicted doom in the NFL. Most of us didn't give a shit and say "good for him" now that he's proven a success. You get a gold star for thinking he would be good before everyone else, though.[Edited on August 6, 2006 at 11:59 PM. Reason : asdf]

^so what do you think about the panthers chances this season
8/7/2006 1:03:01 AM
8/7/2006 1:04:41 AM
i'm gonna go out on a limb and say the packers go 7-9 this year while the panthers go 10-6 and get to the second round of the playoffs
8/7/2006 1:06:13 AM
the packers are gonna lose 28 games this yearpanthers are super bowl-bound if the defense stays healthy
8/7/2006 1:07:42 AM
idk man i just cant see us living up to all this hype...i've heard from like 3 places that we are gonna win it alli just wish someone could explain it to meRIP BRET favre
8/7/2006 1:09:59 AM
yeah brett favre toothe panthers have been forecasters darlings for the past three years or soi think this is the year it all clicks though
