HELLO and welcome to 2002

I'm trying to do the same, but the only thing I'm having issues with is locating the isbn numbers, etc. I looked online and they do not seem to give them through the NC State bookstore, so how do you know for sure that you're getting the correct book?

what I did was compare what the bookstore said to the ISBN's listed in the books forum ... then when I search author/title as long as I don't find any newer editions, I know I'm good to go Go ahead and make fun of me, I don't care - the most I've saved in the past was maybe 40-50% online, but this is more like 75%

that reminds me, I need to get my book list.

I go to the book store with a piece of paper and pencil and copy down the ISBNs.I can't get the book exchange to work for me.

^ I do that, but I still end up losing dollars here and there... and then there are the books I actually want to keep, or they upgrade the edition--stuff like that. I've actually made money on some things, too.

I hate when they upgrade some book that doesnt need to be just to get more money. I mean seriously does Cal 2 change, or WWII history, and students lose so much because they take us out for lunch/send us mad books to try to talk us into using them in our classes.[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 4:48 AM. Reason : I mean finding out you can't sell a book back because of a new edition really wears my taint down]
