I posted this on craigslist too ... http://raleigh.craigslist.org/bar/189076144.htmlI know there are peoples on here who are actually professionals running businesses or perhaps know such people. It's about 900SF, no funky corners except around kitchen cabinets. I'll supply the raw materials, you supply labor and tools. The largest thing of value that I can/will part with is my laptop. I could also bake goodies, like perhaps a new pie every week for however long - chocolate, berries, cheesecake - etc. I'd really prefer to wait until after the fall semester though if you're interestedin the laptop Reason for posting NOW for a deal in December? Real professionals have appointment books and I am planning ahead. Takers?

can you just make me some pies? i havent had a good homemade pie in forever

I did that for a while - for "adoption fees" of courseI think I "placed" them for $15 each, and never had an unhappy "foster parent"

$15 for a pie? I think i will just goto Harris Tetter and get a Mrs. Smiths pie or something

not gonna hurt my feelings - mine are way better - with a cheesecake, I spend almost $10 on ingredients and that doesn't include the crust or topping; chocolate pies are almost solid chocolate; fruit pies and fruit toppings are made from fresh picked fruit I pick myself whenever possible

i will do the flooring for you......if you bake cookies every week for ETERNITTTYYYYYYYY but in all seriousness i wont because i dont know how

I've done quite a bit of hardwood flooring and installed a ceramic tile floor before as well. Both are relatively easy, but very tedious and time consuming. This is at least 3 full days of work.No one in their right mind would do this work for a laptop that's worth less than $600 or baked goods.

it's not carpet... did you read the craigslist post?
8/2/2006 1:29:46 PM
nah, it's laminate and ceramic ... I hope I'm open to ideas, but if I had $3000 to spend, I'd just let Empire Today put in carpet and leave the kitchen alone ... because that's only $2000. I figure we did those 650sf of laminate ourselves in one day with about the shittiest stuff ever. It was OK until people started walking on it ... I don't expect this to be an all-day-until-done event ... I figure what the heck, there's someone out there with a few days off between regular jobs who might like to get something of value without exchanges of cash-moneyOH and I'm open to other suggestions - the laptop was serious, the baked goods was just for humor, but I guess I suck at funnay I've got some craft stuff, I used to make wedding favors (year 1 loss, year 2 broke even, year 3 woulda been great except I ran out of cash before I could reel in enough paying customers) ... I've got kids, therefore I have kid stuff - Like I said, most everything else I can part with is small change compared to my laptop.[Edited on August 2, 2006 at 1:40 PM. Reason : ,]
