This is an alarm clock that you can set to say messages such as "Happy Birthday" or "Go State!" at any part of the month, year, or even daily. It's in fine condition but I just got a new alarm clock and don't need this one anymore. The pic is what it looks like. Again, fine condition, just don't want it anymore. If you choose to buy it, just know that it's important that you keep it on a flat surface...otherwise the floating message's timing will get off and it will have to start over. Touching it messes up nothing though. I'll take the best offer, starting at $20.[Edited on July 31, 2006 at 11:02 PM. Reason : price change]

can you hear the thing going back and forth?

Usually that depends on whether or not it's on a flat surface, but you can only barely hear it if the room is completely silent. If you mean a ticking like a clock, no. It's barely audible. The time frame really doesn't matter to me, just whoever wants it whenever. If you're willing to drive to University Towers on campus, that'd be even better. Thanks.[Edited on August 1, 2006 at 2:34 AM. Reason : ;]
