Texas Roadhouse is better than Texas Steakhouse.

Also Lonestar Steakhouse is better than Texas Steakhouse.

i ate their a couple days ago, and it was probably one of the worst steaks I've had in some time now.

No, it may not be "AUTOMATICALLY BAD OMFG", but if I have a choice I will always choose a privately owned restaurant...there is no excuse for anyone in Raleigh to ever eat at an Applebee's...

I like texas steakhouse for the cheese fries and the hershey brownie. Texas roadhouse is better though if only for the cinnamon butter...

I used to like Texas steakhouse, but their menu is so damn small and doesn't have a good selection, IMO

Ruth's Chris and Mortons are both national chains and both are considered among the absolute best steahouses in the country by numerous publications.

What does it take to cook a stea or is it actually spelled steak? Seriously, any schmo off the street with an hour's training can be tought how to cook a fucking steak...oh yeah, they also serve sauteed veggies, salads, and potatoes...WOW!

I had some magazine on the plane and charlies in florida was #1. ruths chris was like #3 and mortans was #4. they are all really good but i liked mortons the best. even the potatoes at these restaurants are much better than the wendys ones you get at lonestar/outback.

charleys uses a secret blend of organic mixtures and wood in their stove to cook the steaks in a cherokee indian style stove. many of these top steakhouses have premium aged beef cut to order and they bring all the raw food out and do a "presentation" of their menu.

mortons is the only restaurant that made me take my hat off.

You do know that the highest quality beef is not available to anyone, don't you? Restaurants, like Ruth's Chris, Morton's, etc., get first dibs at the meat that is available and it is all bought up before it trickles down to the general market. A small private restaurant simply is not capable of buying the best quality beef in the country because of the way the market is done. Besides, if everyone could properly cook a steak then they would, but the vast majority of restaurants still manage to fuck it up. Quality and consistency are what you are paying for, not gourmet fare.

Oh, and before you get off trying to be a spelling Nazi you might want to be sure the spelling in your own post is correct... dumbass.

I'VE WORKED AT THE ONE IN MORRISVILLE FOR 4 YEARS PLEASE DIRECT ALL QUESTIONS TOWARDS ME

lol the food is ok, the bread rolls are good if they are fresh. the salads are decent.

dont get a sirloin or ribi. stick with the prime rib pretty much cant go wrong.

that being said texas steakhouse (at least the one i work at sometimes) is on par with outback.. but that isnt saying much. I actually like some of texas steakhouse's steaks more.

Tell that to anyone that has ever eaten at the Beefmaster in Wilson, and I am pretty sure that they are not a chain.
