delicious.

red for the cold/salad bar, green when you're ready for the main course. or the other way around, cant remember which color is which.

It's one of the most awesome steakhouses ever.

You go to the salad bar (unlimited salad bar) and get your first round of food, then when you're ready you flip your card over from red to green. From here, the various waiters/waitresses walking around with big skewers of meat will offer you different types of meat. Top sirloin, chicken hearts, ribeye, etc etc. There's a whole lot of types of meat you'll eat. When your plate is full, or when you want to stop for a minute, you flip the card over to red and the servers will bypass you until you flip the card back over to green.

You will love the hell out of that place and eat more high quality steak than you've eaten in a long time.

yo you defintely wanna go there

skip the appetizer/ salad bar and go head and flip the card to the green side

theyll serve u meat as they walk by the table, if u want it (which you will) theyll cut u a slice and go on to the next table

they have about 15 meats and this bangin ass cinnamon roasted pineapple, they serve mashed potatoes, red bean, and these good ass little biscuits for the sides

when u are ready to be served meat, you flip your card to the green side...once u feel like u are gettin full or need a break, flip it to the red side and they wont come back to your table...when u ready to eat some more flip it back to greeen

the meats are delicious as hell, and youll get your 25 bucks worth...me and my big friend sat in there eatin for 2 hours to the point where we couldnt taste anything anymore and had to lay down outside before we drove off

best place ive ever eaten, but when u leave u aint gonna wanna eat there for awhile...bad memories

i dont see how you can eat $25 worth of steak. when nice cuts of beef are on sale for $4-$5 a pound at the grocery store i just dont see eating $25 worth. i guess the selection of beef/salad bar is worth something...just doesn't seem worth $25. i'm sure i'll go at some point tho

it might sound strange, but try the chicken hearts when you go there. and if you want the 'official drink of brasil' order a caipirinha.

its right off 64 before hendricks (i like it like that carolinas giant i like it like that) auto mall. its right next to jimmy vs which i hear is good. the rio place isnt THAT high quality meat but its worth it just because its brazilian season and a different expierience than anything else. if you like great salad steakhouses go to the peddler on glenwood and carvers creek of capital at the beltline.

I've been to both Fogo de Chão locations in Texas. They're not cheap but they're damn good.

I went to Chamas in Durham with some friends and that was OK but not great. I would go back again with a group of friends, but it wasn't good enough to make the trip just for the food.

I suppose I should try this place in Cary...

Every now and then you can get a good $12 ribeye for $6 at the store. Although that's way better than a shitty $15 steak at outback but still can't compare to a nice $30-$40 filet.

although i fall victim to it also - there is usually a reason steaks are on sale....and not b/c the grocery store is feeling generous

on a side note - my step-dad ordered me some omaha steaks that should arrive on friday

The damn salad bar was some nasty stuff. If ya'll go, skip it and go straight for the meats. Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon, Chicken wrapped in bacon, Garlic steak, Ribs, type of Sirloin cut, type of London Broil cut, Pork Sausage, Pork Loin with lime... Good shit.

^^ Yeah, and they have good cuts. They have practically everything there available for dinner.

I wasn't brave enough to try some damn chicken hearts though. They looked sketchy.

Buy better ribeyes. Strip? Stips have low marbleing and too tight of a grain.

thats rio's best meat IMO, i fell in love with that shit but forgot what it was called

and i told ya to skip the salad bar lol, they have weird shit

and quit arguing about stupid shit like 'marbeling' and 'tight grain' you are probably doing nothing more than regurgitating what others have said

meat is meat, seasoning and preparation is everything

(did you try that cinnamon pineapple jmpack? off the chain wasnt it)

meat is not meat. seasoning and preperation is important but with a good cut you could cook it plain and it would be better than a bad cut could ever dream of being.
