New Woody Allen movie with Scarlett Johansson, Hugh Jackman, and Woody himself. Came out today in the top 100 markets (which I guess is basically every fairly large city in the country). http://imdb.com/title/tt0457513/It's getting panned pretty harshly by the critics, but I really enjoyed it. The plot was thin and predictable, but maybe I'm just getting too used to these summer movies, because I was laughing the entire time, yet didn't feel like I had just lost a few IQ points after watching it. I haven't seen a whole lot of Woody movies, though, and some people are saying this is just a rehash of a lot of his previous stuff, so I guess I can't really judge it in that respect.

I still haven't seen Match Point.I'll never see Melinda and Melinda. Radha Mitchell's face scares me.

I loved it, I saw it at the Carolina here in Durham and it was pretty funny. The whole boat of dead people reminded me somewhat of Sartre's No Exit. Scarlett's glasses bothered me because she is so gorgeous and they were just...ew. This is the most random plot ever though, but I really enjoyed the ending. I also felt like Scarlett's character was totally shafting her cute British friend all summer, by running off with Peter and what not all the time.Anyone who saw it: you're a lovely person, you're really something special and you're a credit to your race.
