when i type things in the search box i have a huge list of autofill material that i want to delete. I tried deleting temp internet files and clearing history but to no avail. any help

the other thing you can do is when that autofill list drops down, press shift+del

ccleaner and all those other registry cleaners are so much bs. They clean the few kb out of your registry, give your comp a high risk of messing up somewhere, and not speed it up at all. So what they do is clean up all this stuff on the side to give the illusion that it cleans up alot by using utilities that are already built into Windows, since just cleaning the registry doesn't do crap.

I used ccleaner. That is so true. It cleans out the same crap disk cleanup does, and it shows some startup programs, which a small exe at Sysinternals called autorun can do a better job of.
