COMPUTER CONSULTANT NEEDED

Small business in Cary is looking for consultant to offer PC technical support as needed. Does not necessarily need to be during normal business hours. Most immediate need is setting up/networking computers and server the beginning of August. Hourly rate negotiable.

So what kind of skills are they looking for? Do you need extensive knowledge of Windows Server 2003, Linux, Solaris, what? Is the networking wired/wireless? Need more details.

I really have no idea about the job specifics/requirements/etc.

I run with a woman who operates a business out of her home with her husband. They recently decided to move to an actual office so they can expand. I think the job is basically helping them set-up the computers/network and then maintenance as needed.
