can anyone recommend one?

i've been using coppermine but it is just a bit too much for what i need and has been fucking up in some areas so i've decided to jump ship on it if i can find a suitable alternative

Gallery and Coppermine are probably the "big 2" php galleries

but if coppermine is too much for what you need, you may find the same in Gallery, although I think Gallery is completely modular, so you can take away everything you don't need

i'm looking for something between tww's photo gallery and coppermine

does gallery have batch add and themes?

G2 has basically everything.....
and with recent releases, there are a lot of nice installation options, including the option to download a single script, then upload that to your site, run the script, and it will automatically pull the latest install package straight from menalto.com and install it for you.

The G2 admin interface is outstanding, and the theming is very nice
