My office went there today for a celebration of finishing our Q2 Project.
It's in an old warehouse out in Clayton close to the 40/70 split. It was alot of fun except I got whiplashed a few times from crashing into the "wall".
Has anyone been out there before?

Tip: You're faster when you aren't scraping the wall.

It was my first outing there. I got better after a couple of runs.
I think the top speed is around 38-39 mph

you guys want to get a group going to do the grand prix? 55 per person, 5 min practice, 8 min qualifying, 8 minute heat, 8 minute final race(top racers)

Good god, whatever you do don't give them your real phone number and email address when you go there. I get a phone call about once a week from those guys asking me to come back out there again.

Is it better than Victory Lanes in Charlotte?

$40 for 4 races for members if you buy at the right time
Girls can race fri evenings and all day saturday for just $5 if they come with a member

I hit a best of 33.3xx my first and only time there (2nd race of the day). I'm def. going back...cuz I gotta use up my 2 free races

[Edited on July 19, 2006 at 10:16 PM. Reason : it's pretty easy not to hit the walls..]

^^ why did you have to give them your number?

every time I've been, it's just a matter of signing the release and paying and then go drive...no questions asked

I gave them whatever info they asked for during the sign up procedure. I mean it's not like I asked them if I could give them my phone number or anything. Maybe the process has changed I went there right when they opened up 6-8 months ago.
