the car chase was crazy. it had such rhythm to it. and to find out it was real and unscripted was awesome. i'm going to rent mcqueens bullet cause i hard there's another cool chase in that one.

Here's a little FC trivia for you.The detective that Popeye did not get along with was played by Bill Hickman.He is the one who actually did the high speed driving and stunts.(He also did drove the hit man car in "Bullit"....same director)although Hackman did do some time in the car as well. When a car pulls out and Popeye hits it.That was unscripted, and Hackman was driving! Some dude just pulled out in front of him.Also, the guy who played the Police chief was the real Popeye. I think he's dead now, but appeared in movies and tv ever since TFC.Another good car chase was in "The Seven-Ups" with Roy Schieder chasing, again, Bill Hickman.
