I have a Compaq N610c laptop. As soon as I unplug the AC Adapter, causing it to run on the battery, it starts making this high pitched buzzing noise...sounds like morse code, lol. Anyone know what causes this? It's not loud, but I can hear it and it drives me crazy when I'm in a totally silent room.

make some noise and then you wont hear it

sounds like the Inverter having issues with the battery voltage.
