Key quote"You eight hours? Me too. Russia's a big country and you're a big country. Takes him eight hours to fly home. Russia's big and so is China." - PRESIDENT BUSHStory in full;Words often fail George Bush, but yesterday the president of the United States added some new phrases to the language of international diplomacy. A live microphone at the G8 summit picked up Mr Bush talking more like a teenager than leader of the free world. In a conversation with Tony Blair, the president said of the continuing strife in the Middle East that Syria should press Hezbollah to "stop doing this s***". Mr Bush had first attracted the Prime Minister's attention by saying: "Yo, Blair. How are you doing?"Taken from:http://news.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=1041562006

oh my god this shit just DOES NOT MATTERi've been all over the liberal blogs telling people to shut up b/c well WERE FUCKING LIBERAL.sooo why fuss about language when we are always trying to give us more liberties to say what we want? I mean seriously.and see now youve got me actually talking about this nonsensical bullshit. urgh..

I will say that I've been proud of most of the liberals on this board. Some liberals (like you were saying, on blogs) just like to bitch about shit (we conservatives do it too) even when we're just being fucking retards about it. Good to see most of you guys see this is what it is: a human being a human.

I could care less what cuss words the president wants to use, but isn't he very much in favor of the increasingly heavy fines imposed on broadcasters and stations that have a slip of the tounge? I think I read the other day that not only are they going after the stations and commentators for sporting events, but are asking them to hand over tapes of the crowd so they can impose fines for cussing fans as well. Now THAT is some shit.

I don't care whether or not my president swears as long as he can get things done.Unfortunately, I lack faith in his ability to execute sound foreign policy, so I guess the swearing bothers me.
7/18/2006 6:50:33 PM
Well my concern was not at all that he was cussing. Blair seems to be cool with it anyway...My point was more the first part I quoted (in which he does not coherently speak), not that this is a suprise to anybody, but it is interesting that people don't think the ability to effectively speak should be something the president of the U.S. is capable of doing.Ahmet

If I had to guess, I would say that the FCC is not going to track down and fine the fan--they'll just fine the broadcaster who has no control over the fan.Does anybody know if it's actually illegal to cuss in public? Or what laws would cover foul language?Regardless,FUCK SHIT GODDAM MOTHERFUCKER CUNT DICK SON-OF-A-BITCH ASSHOLE DICKHEAD TAKE THAT YOU FCC SHEEPSHAGGERS[Edited on July 18, 2006 at 8:32 PM. I didn't say they would impose a fine on a fan, but they might impose fines on networks for hearing fans cuss on the air, which COULD result in all sporting events being on a tape delay, which would be super gay.

Ah, OK--I misunderstood what your were saying. Still...
