Anyone know a good site to purchase KONI sport dampers and springs? I can only find one place to get the sport, not really interested in the FSD as I want lowering springs in addition to dampers. This is for my saab 03 SS if it matters.. thanks!

honestly, look on ebay. I got my Tokico's there for way cheaper than most websites. There are a lot of wholesalers and shit on there. Just make sure that the guy you buy it from looks reputable.

if you want cheap, you don't want konis. like ^ said, get tokicos.

I bought mine at a place in the Greensboro area for quite cheap. I think they were less than $110/corner (miata). I can't remember the name of the shop, but the owner's name is GH Sharp. I'm sure you could google it, as he's fairly well known.

i've personally seen three sets of Konis prematurely spew. In the latest instance, my friend is fighting for warranty coverage w/ Koni. Konis claims his strut shafts are bent because he autoxed on rcomps too hard and that the rears are fine. on full stiff we could pull the shafts EASILY.. that is NOT normal. He asked for a shock dyno proving the rears were ok and they sent some stock kindergarten graph w/ NO numbers on it. Konis are fine shocks, but don't be surprised when they need a rebuild. and then don't be surprised when Koni tells you to fuck off.my friends who bought Konis through Ground Control had no issues w/ the warranty claims besides the 6-8week wait period on the rebuild.

I guess I got lucky then.

ever hear of a Koni oem shock? bilstein? mmhmm theres a reason for that.not that i'm a huge Bilstein fanboy either, but they do last forever. My new suspension setup is running Carrera shocks.. theres more than two options out there

you can get very inexpensive TEIN's basic coilovers from ebay for $900 shipped for E36 M3. That is about $150 more than what you would spend on a typical spring/shock combo. i'll probably pick it up within next few weeks. reading around people had nothing, but success with them.
